Thru Our Eyes a PhotoVoice Program

"Thru Our Eyes" is a youth program whose focus is to discuss the main issues in our society, mainly focusing on drug abuse and mental illness. Children in this program learn how to use the creative tool PhotoVoice in order to help changemakers understand the lived experiences of the communities that are being overlooked. "Through their art, they bring new insights and perspectives which raise awareness of hidden or unnoticed issues. This program is geared for the youth to express themselves through their eyes."
