10 Reasons Why Self-Love Is The Best, Most Important Type Of Love by Alexis George
Love yourself or nobody will.
Everyone wants to be loved and we often think that means we need to seek it from other people. But when you seek love from external sources you are allowing it to be taken away from you, which can leave you feeling empty and broken on the inside. Speaking of inside, why don’t we look inside of ourselves for love?
Learning to love and approve of yourself is one of the hardest things to do. It requires you to take the time out to put yourself first, focusing on your wants and needs over those of others.
It might seem selfish at first, but after a while, you will realize that before you can truly take care of others, you have to first take care of yourself. This could include engaging in activities that make you happy or spending time alone with your thoughts. You could even practice stating positive affirmations or reading uplifting quotes to help you view yourself in a better light. Nobody will stand to lose from you choosing to do so.
What is a CBD Dab?The most commonly used CBD dabs are treated so that they crystallize and solidify. These concentrated substances are derived from a process that extracts compounds like THC, CBD, and terpenes out of hemp oil. The resulting substances come in varying forms, the most common being wax, a sticky concentrate. Other similar CBD concentrates are budder, crumble, shatter, pull-and-snap, and honeycomb.
Beyond their texture and consistency, there aren’t many differences between these substances. Their texture is determined by how much moisture they hold, and how agitated they are during the extraction process. As their names suggest, “budder” is creamy and butter-like, while “crumble” has a crumbly texture. “Shatter” is transparent and glass-like, while “honeycomb” has a soft, honeycomb-like texture. “Pull-and-snap” extracts are taffy-like, and usually snap when stretched or bent.
Though most CBD oils cannot be used for dabbing, CBD dab oil is highly concentrated and designed specifically for dabbing. With a thick dark gold liquid, it’s also referred to as honey oil. Another dabbed substance is the CBD crystal, or isolate, which is a highly purified substance that is tasteless and odorless.
It’s no secret I’m infatuated with the importance of breath. From my daily practice of starting each day with 5 minutes of deep breathing to the HEPA air filter and air purifiers and essential oil air diffusers I have installed my home and office to articles I’ve written about breathing such as How to Breathe The Right Way and How Should You Breathe During And After You Workout? you could say breathing is a physiological function I focus on just about all day long.
In my quest to always become a better breather, I recently read a breathtaking (sorry, I couldn’t help myself) book entitled Breathe by Dr. Belisa Vranich.
In the book, Dr. Vranich shows us how breathing the right way can help with stress, illness, and a whole host of issues. As one of the most comprehensive treatises I’ve ever read on breathing, the book contains information on why breathing is so crucial, how to do know if you’re doing it wrong, how to know if you’re doing it right and, of course, plenty of quick and dirty tips on a host of different breathing techniques—all of which you’re about to discover in this episode on 30 ways to breathe better. (Stay tuned at the end of the episode for a bonus exercise from Breathe, which you can only find in the audiobook!).
Let’s delve right into each of these breathing tactics, shall we?

Many of us have our own unique skincare regimen that we follow religiously to keep our skin youthful-looking and glowing. For those of us whose skin is particularly difficult to deal with, maintaining a regular skincare routine is even more important.
Luckily, there are all sorts of different products within the beauty industry that are designed to target specific issues. While you're reaching for your alpha-hydroxy acid cream, vitamin E-infused moisturizers, and organic oatmeal scrubs, consider reaching for a product containing the newest ingredient on the skincare shelf: cannabis.
These days, the cannabis industry is booming, and you can find an infused version of just about everything, including cosmetics and beauty products. While other ingredients may have been more of a fad or gimmick, cannabis is anything but.
As more evidence emerges about the plant’s beneficial effects on skin and hair, more and more cosmetics companies are infusing hemp into their products. And we couldn’t be more excited.
Studies have shown that cannabis beauty products may be able to alleviate redness and inflammation of the skin, reduce the incidence of acne and blemishes, and calm itchy, irritated skin. Some anecdotal evidence even suggests that hemp seed oil derived from the hemp plant can help promote a more youthful glow.
Many already believe in the power of anti-aging skincare, and cannabis companies have incorporated the healing powers of the cannabis plant into similar products.
So, what's all the hype about hemp skincare, and what type of products are available in this realm?

Anyone unfamiliar with cannabidiol, or CBD, may be surprised to learn its association with weight loss. After all, the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) found in cannabis has long been known to do the exact opposite; stimulate appetite. However, now that medicinal cannabis is legal in more parts of the world, new research (linked below) has found that industrial hemp-derived CBD may have an effect on weight. How you ask? Read on and find out.
What is CBD and How Does it Work?
Cannabinoids are compounds found in cannabis, and CBD is one of over 100 known today! After THC, CBD is the second most plentiful cannabinoid, composing up to 40 percent of some cannabis extracts. While THC is known for its intoxicating effects, CBD doesn’t get you high.
Studies have shown that CBD may offer its benefits by stimulating certain receptors in our body’s endocannabinoid system and prolonging the effects of the “bliss molecule” anandamide. By allowing anandamide to remain in the body longer, it doesn’t just help soothe soreness but also helps in other areas as well. CBD may also support the body by helping to decrease the number of cytokines, which are inflammatory molecules.

Saving vs. investing: Here are the key differences for managing your money by James Royal (www.bankrate.com)
Saving and investing are both important, but they’re not the same thing. While both can help you achieve a more comfortable financial future, consumers need to know the differences and when it’s best to save and when it’s best to invest.
The biggest difference between saving and investing is the risk versus the reward. Saving typically allows you to earn a lower return but with virtually no risk. In contrast, investing allows you to earn a higher return, but you take on the risk of loss in order to do so.
Here are the key differences between the two – and why you need both of these strategies to help build wealth.
