Skin Deep: Your Ultimate Guide to Topical CBD (www.madebyhemp.com)

7/30/2019

As the world embraces CBD for its medicinal value, CBD product manufacturers and other health professionals continue to discover more and more ways to take advantage of its health and medicinal benefits. This offers consumers more options and allows them to choose the method most convenient for them. Methods include oils, tinctures, edibles, patches, vape oil, and topicals in the form of creams, lotions, balms, and more.

Topical CBD, unlike other CBD products, doesn’t enter the bloodstream but is no less effective. Depending on the issue you’re trying to address, it could even work faster than say, tinctures and edibles, which are ingested, and work from inside the body. Because topical CBD is applied right to the skin and exactly where it’s needed, the cannabinoid is absorbed directly into the affected area so it’s able to work faster, providing quick relief.

Whether you’re new to cannabidiol and deciding which product is for you, or you’re just exploring other options, we’ve got everything you need to know about topical CBD right here.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA) (and How to Read) (www.madebyhemp.com)

CBD is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get unless you do a little reading. With CBD oil, it should be as easy as checking the box, but there’s an unfortunate problem of mislabeled products. Protect yourself from fake or low-quality products by doing your due diligence —always check the Certificate of Analysis. If there isn’t one, steer clear.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is a document from an accredited laboratory that shows the quantity of various cannabinoids in a product.
Manufacturers should send every batch of every product they make to a lab for testing, to protect their customers and prove that their products have as much CBD as they advertise.

Healthy living facts

This article is designed to give tips to readers about how they can improve or augment actions in their life to have a healthy lifestyle; it is not meant to be all inclusive but will include major components that are considered to be parts of a lifestyle that lead to good health. In addition to the tips about what people should do for healthy living, the article will mention some of the tips about avoiding actions (the don'ts) that lead to unhealthy living.

"Healthy living" to most people means both physical and mental health are in balance or functioning well together in a person. The use of marijuana goes way back and actually has a long history dating back centuries. While ancient civilizations didn't exactly use marijuana to get stoned, they did use it for its medicinal effects and treatment of ailments.

In fact, the use of cannabis dates as far back as 500 BC in Asia and back to the colonial days in America when hemp was grown for use as textiles.

Yes, marijuana's healing properties have long been acknowledged, but only recently have they been brought to the mainstream and clinically tested for medical efficacy and safety.
The stigma surrounding marijuana and other cannabis products only started in the 20th century, stemming from political and racial factors. As a result, marijuana became an illegal substance and has remained so for decades.

But as we know, the laws regarding the production, distribution, possession, and use of medical and recreational marijuana have been changing. We're on the cusp of a revolution in the realm of marijuana, and thanks to all the incredible ways that the marijuana plant and its cannabinoids can benefit the mind and body, it's become more widely accepted — even by the law.

As a certified health coach, I work with people on clearing negative energy from their lives and avoiding toxic elements that can damage their emotional and physical health and wellbeing. Such toxicity can come in the form of relationships, work assignments and office environments, pollution in the air we breathe (which is especially prevalent in big cities, such as NYC, Chicago and L.A.), and dirty living environments. By balancing healthy living aspects and removing harmful ones, we can be happier and healthier each day. However, unexpected situations can pop up where we are surrounded by negative elements, and we must remain our composure and positive outlook to get through them unaffected. Here are thirteen ways to avoid negativity and start feeling happier and more relaxed when a poor mood strikes.
