Born and raised in Miami, Rey Jaffet has been surrounded by a vast majority of cultures and art his entire life. Jaffet's dynamic visual approach encompasses elements of modern realism, contemporary, pop, and street art fused with urban influences. His work varies from oils, acrylics, spray paint, and other mixed media. Through Art, he strives to portray misunderstanding, hardships, importance of family, individuality, and other poignant issues of the modern generation. Jaffet graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School in 2013 and now attends New World School of the Arts in Downtown Miami. He has been fortunate to work closely with other artists, including Enrique "Sero" Cruz, David "LeBo" Le Batard, and Miguel Paredes, who became a mentor to him.
